Ray Robinson - Partner

Ray has had a long association with Phipps having been a partner for nearly 30 years.

He looks after a wide range of clients, but with special responsibility for farming clients. Ray is a member of the ICAEW Farming and Rural Business special interest group.

Ray also deals extensively with trust taxation, administration and financial planning.

He is keen on all sports and in particular golf.

Neil Cunliffe - Partner

Neil has been with Phipps & Co for 11 years.

Neil has a wide range of clients, but with a special focus on audit clients, charity and not-for-profit sector clients and our medical practice clients.

Neil is also heavily involved in the local business community, being the current Chair of the Rye & District Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of work, Neil has a wife and two young children, and is a keen dinghy sailor and golfer.

Karen Burt - Partner

Karen joined Phipps & Co in 2005 and very much enjoys working in Rye, East Sussex. 

Karen specialises in dealing with owner-managed businesses and enjoys working closely with her clients to help develop their businesses.

With Karen’s experience and specialist company secretarial qualification she is particularly well-placed to deal with corporate clients.

Karen enjoys all sports and has represented her county at badminton and cricket. She is also a keen theatre-goer.

Nick Martin - Consultant

Having been a partner with Phipps & Co for many years, Nick continues to work with the firm as a consultant, specialising in tax planning, trusts and Inheritance tax, and other client matters.

Nick is a keen sailor and opera enthusiast.
