PHIPPS & CO MERGE WITH GIBBONS MANNINGTON

The future looks bright for these two well established firms of Chartered Accountants in the South East who will be merging with effect from 1 April 2010.

Phipps & Co has been providing tax advice and accounting services to clients from its office in Rye for more than 75 years, and there is also a highly regarded office in Tenterden.

Gibbons Mannington is a highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants and currently has offices in Rye, Tenterden and Bexhill and has been operating for more than 100 years.

The merge will see the coming together of the offices in Rye and Tenterden whilst the Bexhill office will remain unchanged. This will be an opportunity for the new firm to provide an enhanced service combining the wealth of experience accumulated between the nine partners to cover all accounting and tax requirements for businesses and private clients.

Both businesses are looking forward to the challenge which lies ahead and the merged firm will undoubtedly become one of the leading firm’s of Chartered Accountants in the South East.
